Applications/Implementation Engineer

The Application/Implementation Engineer will support customer service needs in the form of on-site training, implementation and consulting. Duties include teaching courses, setting up databases, organizing database structure (part, process and test organization), creating data entry projects, management reporting projects and interfacing with automated data acquisition solutions. Travel up to 15 days a month to every imaginable type of manufacturing plant. Some international travel is required. Customer needs are the Application Engineers' highest priority. In addition, the application engineer will be asked to support InfinityQS initiatives - these include technical writing, software testing and validation, help technical support with escalated issues, help with web page content, writing articles, provide solutions to be posted to the Knowledge Base, submit software improvement suggestions and participate in the user forum.

Requirements: five years of InfinityQS implementation experience or proven advanced knowledge of InfinityQS products - specifically SPC and data acquisition utilities. Employee will be work from home when not traveling. Some international travel is involved, so a current passport will be necessary. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree (or higher) in engineering, mathematics or statistics. Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Senior Software Developer - Lynnwood, WA

InfinityQS is seeking a Software Developer that can take responsibility for the full application development life cycle for A2A and B2B interfaces and technologies. As part of the InfinityQS Integration Development Team, this candidate will work with Messaging Systems and other application and enterprise based connectivity tools including MSMQ, WebSphere, SAP XI and more.

The Senior Software Developer will:

  • Design and develop interfaces for connecting InfinityQS software to other applications and enterprises
  • Design, develop and test application integration components and produce related documentation
  • Coordinate initialization, planning, scope, scheduling, and execution of development activities for a work package
  • Select appropriate integration tools and technologies
  • Apply the appropriate tools and technologies to integration requirements
  • Define and implement standards within the integration infrastructure
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring across the development team
  • Consult, coordinate and provide technical direction and guidance to mission critical, enterprise level projects

The candidate must be experienced in all phases of the software development life cycle, work well in a team setting, be capable with Microsoft Visual Studio software development tools (e.g. VB, C, C++, ASP), have experience with O-O development as well as in the following software development areas: Databases, Windows Services, Web Services, Web Applications, Mobile Devices, etc. The candidate must also understand COM, XML, SOAP, HTML, and HTTP.

Other Requirements:

  • 5+ years software development experience
  • Willingness to travel to regional offices and customer sites
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Able to work under a diverse set of circumstances in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Enterprise Integration including middleware products, messaging services
  • Familiarity with InfinityQS and other products used in the manufacturing industry (e.g. ERP, MRP, MES, SAP, etc.) a huge plus!
  • Member of or familiar with the various standards organizations and specific standards that apply to our industry
  • Experience with highly secure and scalable distributed systems very helpful

Inside Sales Associate

The Inside Sales Associate will support the Global Account Manager’s efforts by setting up presentations, handling some inbound calls, following up on trade show activities and leads, and supporting the entire sales process. This individual must have strong communication and computer skills, excellent people skills, and a drive to succeed. This is a great position for someone who wants to further develop his/her sales experience, be in control of his/her own destiny within a company, and enjoys being on the phone.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Make minimum of 50-75 calls per day to both clients and prospects to set up WebEx and face-to-face sales presentations
  • Research and maintain sales database
  • Coordinate meetings, seminars, conferences and trade shows that provide visibility and sales opportunities
  • Handle multiple tasks and duties as assigned

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 1-3 years of B2B sales experience. Microsoft Office suite of applications and proficiency in the use of databases, spreadsheets and presentation software preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills also required.
