Information Technology

InfinityQS software can run in virtually any IT environment, including Citrix. The requirements are minimal and the software is designed to be user-friendly and flexible. We've developed numerous tools for a smooth integration with your other systems, so that you can leverage InfinityQS data across the enterprise.

In general, any computer system that can run Microsoft Windows 2000/XP can run the current InfinityQS products. The system requirements of ProFicient are similar to those of Microsoft Word or Excel. We recommend that each workstation have a Pentium or equivalent 300+ MHz processor speed with at least 256 MB of memory.

Relational Database Design for Ease of Administration
InfinityQS uses a relational database design, so it requires far less maintenance than most other SPC software packages. Other SPC products use a flat-file database approach, where a single part requires that a separate, unique part file/databank/data collection be created. The structure is flat in that it only houses data for a single part. Control limits, data values, and specification limits are housed within these data files.

Because most manufacturing companies produce hundreds of different part numbers that can be manufactured on a variety of processes, the total count of unique data files/databanks can be staggering. Therefore, the use of a flat-file system can be extraordinarily difficult to maintain, especially when you have a large number of parts and processes to monitor and control.

InfinityQS' relational database design was created to make they deployment easy, and also to make the administration of the system simple, fast, and efficient.

If your company does not have the IT resources to implement ProFicient, you can still take advantage of InfinityQS SPC software with eSPC®. eSPC is a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution which requires no IT support. Users simply login to the system through a secure Internet connection and all the data is hosted and managed by InfinityQS. eSPC provides a quick and cost-effective way to implement real-time SPC throughout your plant or your entire enterprise.

InfinityQS' renowned team of statisticians and quality engineers has published a large collection of articles and reports to help quality professionals effectively implement SPC software. Visit our resource library to access this information.
