Metrology Management Tools

InfinityQS offers you the tools you need to make sure your measurement data is accurate. InfinityQS Gage Tracking and Calibration System (GTS) lets you track and maintain your gages as well as calibration requirements. InfinityQS Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) fully integrates your SPC software with your gage R&R studies. It allows you to accurately evaluate and report on a gage's performance in a production environment.

Comprehensive tracking software that lets you track and maintain your gages as well as calibration requirements, procedures and results for precision tuning that can supercharge your success.

Whether it's to meet your own internal quality standards or to achieve the requirements for ISO 9000, gage tracking and calibration is an important part of your quality process. From tracking the location of every gage (down to its location in a cabinet drawer) to ensuring accurate calibration throughout the life of the equipment, InfinityQS GTS provides the easy-to-use features and functionality that let you achieve your objectives without an undue burden on manpower or paperwork.

Perform Gage Studies Right on the Plant Floor
That's because GTS guides you step-by-step through the process of how to track your equipment down to each individual gage, its calibration schedule, results and history. InfinityQS GTS features give you the power to:

  • Database Independence - like all InfinityQS products, GTS is 100% ODBC compliant and will run smoothly with whatever ODBC database product you choose.
  • Easily Add Gages - create pull down menus for various types and categories of gages, then for models, and finally, each gage by ID or serial number. Additional menus let you assign purchase, lifecycle and even movement/location information.
  • Define Calibration Cycles - set time spans, individually or by model, for how long a gage can be operational before calibration to ensure your maintenance schedule is followed. These time spans can be based on calendar days or days of actual gage use.
  • Document Calibration Procedures and Requirements - ensure that calibration is performed to specifications by linking each gage to the correct procedure rather than having to input new procedures each time.
  • View Calibration History and Initiate New Calibration - track each gage through calibration by passing procedure and requirement information to an operator and providing simple steps (red and green indicators) until the gage has met its specified tolerance.
  • Generate Certificates - generate and store, or even print, certificates that prove any given gage is operating within specification and meets your stringent quality requirements.
  • Integration with Shop Floor SPC Data Collection - operators are notified when their gages are due for calibration. InfinityQS even prevents the use of a gage with an expired certification.
  • Traceability to the Gage - each SPC record can be automatically tagged with the gage, data is then easily segregated by gage.
  • Integrate Simply with Your Existing Database - like all InfinityQS applications, GTS runs with any ODBC compliant database so you can easily integrate the information with your centralized database system.

Accurate SPC data relies on proper use of gage and test equipment. To ensure the validity of your results and optimize the performance of your entire system, you need to evaluate your equipment, not just in a lab, but in the production environment as well. InfinityQS MSA gives you this capability in an easy-to-use software module that works in tandem with your SPC system.

Perform Gage Studies Right on the Plant Floor
InfinityQS MSA lets you perform gage studies in exactly the same manner as your SPC data collection system, ensuring that the entire measurement system is capable of meeting all the stringent requirements imposed by your shop floor data collection. Best of all, InfinityQS MSA interface is easy to use so it will get used. All you need to get started is name a study, answer a few questions regarding data entry and start taking measurements. Analysis is automatic once the trials are complete. Now you're on your way to superior performance.

InfinityQS MSA offers a full suite of features, including:

  • Database Independence - like all InfinityQS products, MSA is 100% ODBC compliant and will run smoothly with whatever ODBC database product you choose.
  • Familiar Data Entry - our user interface is identical to the familiar look and feel of our flagship SPC applications making it simple for operators to learn and use.
  • Multiple Gages, Characteristics and Calculated Fields - unlike many programs, InfinityQS MSA gives you a wide range of flexibility by letting you study multiple items in one analysis for more comprehensive and meaningful results.
  • Multiple Reports Plus Control Chart Analysis - MSA provides for five separate reports and control chart analysis of each gage study allowing you to tailor your reports to different levels of management without additional manipulation. Cut down on your manual reporting and provide everyone, from shop floor to top management, with the level of detail that is useful to them. (Gage R&R Reports include: Control Chart Average and Range Results; Control Chart Display; Control Chart Analysis Data; Summary; Total Tolerance Report; Total Variation Report; and Dataset View).
