Chantilly, VA - September 26, 2007 - InfinityQS® International, the leading provider of statistical process control (SPC) software, announced today that it has acquired DeSimone Engineering China, a consulting firm that specializes in quality and productivity improvement technologies for manufacturers. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will grow InfinityQS' resources in China, allowing the software provider to better serve its multinational clients with manufacturing operations in that region. With an increasing number of companies expanding their manufacturing operations to China, InfinityQS recognized the opportunity to strengthen its global presence and provide its customers with another satellite office for on-site support. This strategic move comes at a time with an increased focus on the safety and quality of products manufactured in China.

Prior to the acquisition, DeSimone Engineering China was an authorized sales channel for InfinityQS software, and the consulting firm's success demonstrated the demand for real-time quality control solutions in China. DeSimone Engineering in California will continue to operate independently as an InfinityQS Certified Solution Provider.
