ProFicient 3 evolves the SPC software landscape with innovative tools that support a high level of integration into manufacturing systems. The release is primarily focused on fully automated data collection, real-time analysis and event generation services.
The upgrades in ProFicient 3 provide increased flexibility through core product enhancements as well as automated data collection and analysis services, allowing manufacturers to address a wider range of quality opportunities than with previous versions of the software. ProFicient 3 offers powerful process improvement features that give manufacturers unprecedented visibility over process efficiency on the shop floor.
With over 30 major enhancements including eight new applications, improved application programming interfaces (APIs) and product upgrades, InfinityQS has dramatically extended the value of ProFicient to its clients. These fully integrated, scalable features give ProFicient a networked quality management approach to support larger quality programs. At the same time, the robust nature of the software's automated statistical analysis provides practical day-to-day functionality by uncovering individual process personalities.

- OPC Data Collection Service (OPCDCS)—OPC Data Collection Service imports subgroup information into an InfinityQS database from data acquired from OPC servers.
- Remote Alarms Monitor Service (RAMS)—Identifies alarms with little or no human interaction, ideal for heavily automated data collection situations or where a plant runs "lights out."
- Remote Event Monitor Service (REMS)—Monitors the ProFicient database for new events and launches a user-defined application based on the type of event.
- Quality Monitor—provides a real-time snapshot of the quality status and performance of key manufacturing characteristics in a user-friendly interface.
