On-Site Training

• Does InfinityQS offer on-site training?

  Yes, call your Global Account Manager (GAM) and they will provide you with information for on-site training classes.

Registration and Confirmation

• What are the qualifications for the advanced class?

  Students must complete the InfinityQS SPC Fundamentals course before registering for the advanced class. If you possess a strong working knowledge of InfinityQS SPC applications, can demonstrate that knowledge and receive permission from the instructor, exceptions will be made.

  It is not advisable to book attendance into this class if you have not met the above criteria. Attendance of a non-qualified student to a class of this design will impede the progress of the other attendees. In addition, students must be familiar with the Microsoft® Windows™ operating system, Windows applications and database techniques.

• What are the minimum requirements for class attendees?

  Students should possess a good working knowledge of SPC techniques. Familiarity with the Microsoft® Windows™ operating system and Windows applications (For example, Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus 123, etc.) are necessary so that students are able to navigate through the Windows interface quickly and effectively. Failure to do so will hamper the student's ability to perform many of the required tasks. Additionally, knowledge of basic database concepts is beneficial.

• Should my IT attend this class?

  This class is designed to equip those individuals who will be developing the structure needed to collect data (manually or electronically), develop reports and spearhead the continuous improvement plan. While IT plays an important role, they are not usually the individuals who know the processes, tests and reporting needed to fully implement a real-time SPC software.

• Who should attend training?

  This class is intended for supervisors, administrators and system managers who will be responsible for implementing InfinityQS software at their facility. We do not encourage operators to attend as this is for individuals responsible for implementing and administrating the software.

Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Can I send another co-worker in my place?

  Yes, please notify your account manager before the class begins.

• What if I need to cancel my registration?

  Refund and Cancellation Policy for Open Enrollment Training Courses/On Site Training Classes/Consulting:

  • Requests for cancellations and transfers must be received in writing and acknowledged by InfinityQS International.
  • Full refunds will be given for cancellations received more than ten (10) working days prior to scheduled commencement date.
  • The full fee will be charged for cancellations received within ten (10) working days prior to scheduled commencement date.
  • A 50% surcharge will be applied for rescheduling within ten (10) working days of scheduled commencement date.

  Cancellation by InfinityQS:

  InfinityQS reserves the right to cancel any event at least 2 weeks prior to scheduled commencement date. In this event, you will be notified and a full refund will be awarded. However, InfinityQS is not responsible for any customer related expenses.

• What are the class sizes?

  We accommodate up to 24 students at individual computers in the Fundamentals Class. The Advanced Class attendance is limited to 10 individuals due the complexity of the course.

• What time does class begin and end?

  Class begins each morning at 8:30 AM EST and there will be two 15 minute breaks, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Class will end around 4:30 PM EST each day except Friday. On Friday the class will break for a catered lunch and resume class to be finished by 1:00 PM EST.

  We ask you to make your travel arrangements accordingly. If you need to leave early, we ask that you reschedule to a time that will allow you to fully participate in the class. Leaving early precludes you from receiving your certificate of attendance.

  Airports:
  Dulles International Airport is about six miles from our office and Reagan National Airport is 30 miles from Chantilly. Please find directions to the InfinityQS Headquarters from each airport below.

  From Dulles International Airport: (9 miles)

  • Take Dulles Access Road to Route 28 South (towards Centreville)
  • From Route 28 South, take the first exit ramp onto Westfields Blvd. (west)
  • From Westfields Blvd., turn Right onto Stonecroft Blvd.
  • Take a Left on Conference Center Dr. from Stonecroft Blvd.
  • InfinityQS is located in the Ridgeview at Westfields building on the left of Conference Center Drive.

  From Reagan National Airport (30 miles):

  • Take Washington Memorial Parkway North to I-66 West (towards Front Royal)
  • From I-66 West, take exit #53 B to North VA-28 / Dulles Airport
  • Continue north on Route 28, take the second exit ramp onto Westfields Blvd. (west)
  • From Westfields Blvd., turn Right onto Stonecroft Blvd.
  • Take a Left on Conference Center Dr. from Stonecroft Blvd.

  From Washington DC (30 miles):

Location, Facilities and Amenities

• Will food be provided?

  Students are responsible for their own lunches Tuesday - Thursday, but lunch will be provided on Friday. Snacks and drinks are provided daily.

Attending Training Class

• Will my office/family be able to get in touch with me during the training class?

  Only in an emergency situation. We urge attendees to leave work behind so they can concentrate on the class. We do not supply a phone to the students.

• What can I do to make my training experience more successful?

  Participate in all exercises. Before leaving to attend this class, appoint someone in your office to handle the problems or complications so you can freely participate in the class discussions and exercises. We ask all attendees to turn off cell phones and leave their laptops at the hotel.

• Will time be allotted for me to ask specific questions pertaining to my company?

  We encourage questions and do make time to allow students to build a project using their check sheets and specification sheets and/or control plan. With this in mind it is necessary to remember this is a training course and not consulting so questions will need to be focused on the topics outlined in the coursework description. As time permits we do cover topics beyond the outline.

• What should I bring to class?

  To enhance your experience during the Fundamentals course we suggest you bring an example of check sheets you currently use to collect data. Additionally, you may wish to bring a specification sheet and/or control plan for the area in which you use the check sheet you will be bringing.

  Each student receives a workbook, along with resource materials, to support and expand the coursework covered in class.

After Your Training Class

• Does InfinityQS offer more training opportunities?

  In addition to the Fundamentals Class, we do offer an Advanced Class. Please note this course has specific restrictions in order to provide the best possible experience for all attendees.
