History
InfinityQS was founded in 1989 by Michael A. Lyle and Christopher Kearsley. Veterans in the quality control industry, the founders saw unique marketing opportunities for manufacturers needing computerized controllers to automate various types of industrial equipment. Within the semiconductor industry, they found companies in further need of advanced analytical tools to help them better statistically monitor and control their manufacturing processes.
These advanced statistical tools (Short Run, Group Charts, EWMA, CUSUM, etc.), not typically provided by other real-time data collection and charting products, have since proven to be very successful across all industry segments including Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Electronics, Packaging, Consumer Packaged Goods, General Manufacturing, and Food & Beverage.
Committed to the accurate and practical application of Statistical Process Control (SPC), we attribute our continuous growth to our real-world approach to designing software solutions. We interact with our customers daily to better understand their needs and challenges. Our development initiatives are always based on these interactions and driven by software users in manufacturing environments.
Our nationally renowned industrial statisticians and quality managers build and test the company's software to ensure statistical validity. We believe that real-time statistical analysis plays a powerful role in improving product quality by indicating statistical abnormalities before defects are produced. Our products have saved manufacturers millions of dollars in reducing scrap and rework, allowing them to remain competitive and increase their bottom lines.
Today there are over 40,000 active licenses of our software currently in use worldwide. Clients range from small manufacturing shops to large Fortune 100 companies with global implementations. Our products integrate with a wide variety of ERP systems, and we offer both client-server products as well as Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. We have offices throughout the United States and in the EMEA and China, and our partner network spans six continents.
