By Fall, Armstrong will Install InfinityQS SPC Software in 7 North American Plants

Chantilly, VA - July 19, 2005 - InfinityQS® International, the premier provider of enterprise-wide quality control software solutions, announced today that Armstrong Building Products, a division of Armstrong World Industries, Inc., has selected InfinityQS to provide statistical process control (SPC) software and services to their North American manufacturing operations. InfinityQS SPC products empower manufacturers to monitor, control and improve the quality of their manufacturing operations across a site, an enterprise or an entire supply chain.

In March 2004, Armstrong Building Products implemented InfinityQS SPC software in an initial test pilot at their largest ceilings plant in Macon, Georgia. Based on those positive results, the decision was recently made to implement InfinityQS software as the standard and Armstrong purchased 200 additional licenses. These licenses will be dispersed to six additional plants located in Oregon, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Alabama as well as at Armstrong's corporate headquarters in Lancaster, PA.

The InfinityQS SPC software will be used to monitor, control and improve the quality of the commercial and residential ceiling tiles, reduce scrap and re-work and ensure conformance to Armstrong's high quality standards.

"Armstrong's Ceiling Division is extremely pleased with InfinityQS SPC software," said Terry Roof, project manager at Armstrong's Building Products Division. "The InfinityQS SPC software is by far, the most intuitive for our manufacturing floor environment and allows us to provide the management reports needed for both our internal and external customers."

"We are excited that the initial results from the pilot in the Macon, GA plant prompted the Armstrong Ceiling division to expand and standardize on InfinityQS SPC software," said Michael A. Lyle, President of InfinityQS International. "By working with Armstrong to help them develop a scientific method to control the manufacturing process of their commercial ceiling tiles, we are reinforcing our mission to help global organizations achieve their quality objectives and ensure success in the marketplace."
