Chantilly, VA - December 5, 2006 - InfinityQS® International today announced that it was ranked as the top provider of real-time statistical process control (SPC) hardware, software and services by ARC Advisory Group. In this ARC research study, "Continuous Improvement Systems Worldwide Market Outlook," InfinityQS was also named the leading overall SPC vendor to the FDA regulated medical products field and was highly ranked in six other vertical market categories.
"Our company owes much of its success to our clients who use our software on a daily basis to make real-time improvements to their manufacturing processes," said Michael Lyle, President and CEO of InfinityQS International. "By partnering with our clients to develop and enhance our products, such as supporting FDA's 21 CFR Part 11, we continue to provide leading real-time quality control software solutions to manufacturers that not only improve their quality, but also their bottom line."
The ARC report evaluated the various aspects of the SPC market, and the research firm conducted assessments on all major segments including aerospace and defense, medical, automotive, and food and beverage. Other companies evaluated in this study included MES and ERP providers such as Oracle and SAP, as well as pure-play SPC software vendors. The study also included market share by solution type, geographic region, customer tier and vertical industry plus forecasts and supplier profiles. ARC forecasts that this market's total hardware, software and services revenue, which equaled $200 million in 2005, will double by the end of 2010.
"SPC is a critical tool for Continuous Improvement programs like Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing that keep growing in adoption," said Ralph Rio, research director at ARC Advisory Group and author of the study. "InfinityQS provides the software and services needed to help clients successfully adopt SPC into their business processes. Also, their Web-based eSPC™ solution involves the extended enterprise in improving quality. InfinityQS is well positioned for further growth."
InfinityQS' top customers in the medical products field include Alcon Labs, Novartis Consumer Health, Schering-Plough and Cordis, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. These manufacturers use InfinityQS software not only for real-time quality improvement, but also for lot genealogy and tracking. The software supports the FDA's 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
"As companies continue to automate their manufacturing processes, they are beginning to realize the quantifiable benefits of a real-time quality software solution," said Ross Kent, vice president of sales at InfinityQS International. "This study validates that the demand for SPC software is growing at a rapid rate, and our software provides manufacturers with the necessary tools to remain competitive on a global, enterprise level. InfinityQS has been leading the SPC software space for over 15 years and our solutions continue to be the most effective in real-time quality improvement."
