InfinityQS Announces Major Software Upgrade with ProFicient 4
Chantilly, VA - June 2, 2009 - InfinityQS® International, the leading provider of real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC) software, announced the release of a major upgrade to its industry-leading quality control software, ProFicient 4. ProFicient 4 helps manufacturers improve quality and drive down costs with new features and enhancements for compliance reporting, operator usability, and enterprise integration and visibility.
The release of ProFicient 4 further expands the software's ability to integrate with enterprise manufacturing systems via automated data transfer. Enhancements for compliance reporting include new workflow capabilities to help ensure that data is collected at the necessary intervals for the required characteristics. The Dynamic Scheduler is one of the new tools that accomplishes this goal by alerting operators of scheduled data collection tasks.
ProFicient 4 offers new options that help shop floor operators be more efficient at collecting data. Users have more flexibility to interact with the simplified interface and can map specific manufacturing processes to individual workstations. The new interface gives users the option to view a checklist that shows all of the data collection tasks so that the operator knows exactly what to test and when.
