Dr. Douglas Montgomery to Give Keynote Presentation at InfinityQS User Conference

Renowned Quality and Industrial Statistics Expert Dr. Montgomery Will Discuss New Six Sigma Tools and Experiments for Analyzing Factors That Impact Quality Results at Infusion 2011-- InfinityQS' Fifth Annual User Conference.

Chantilly, VA - June 2, 2011 - InfinityQS International, the leading provider of real-time quality control software solutions, today announced that Dr. Douglas Montgomery will be the keynote speaker at its fifth annual user conference, Infusion 2011. The event is scheduled for Oct. 16-19, at the JW Marriott in San Francisco.

Montgomery is currently a regents' professor of industrial engineering and statistics and foundation professor of engineering at Arizona State University, and has authored 12 books and more than 225 archival works. He is a fellow of several industry organizations, including the American Statistical Association (ASA), the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the Royal Statistical Society (RSS), and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE); a member of the International Statistics Institute (ISI), and an academician of the International Academy for Quality (IAQ). He has also received numerous industry awards, such as the Shewell Award from the ASQ, the Deming Lecture Award from the ASA, and the George Box Medal from the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics. Montgomery holds a Ph.D. in industrial engineering from Virginia Tech.

The theme of this year's conference is "Your Data. Your Quality. Your Results," with a focus on helping manufacturers gain more visibility and control over enterprise quality while reducing waste and improving productivity. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about best practices from their industry peers, be introduced to strategies and techniques that help ensure a successful deployment, and attend hands-on ProFicient training sessions hosted by InfinitiyQS staff. There will also be several networking events and ample opportunity to meet one-on-one with InfinityQS experts.

Montgomery will discuss the latest techniques in utilizing statistically designed experiments -- the most important of the six sigma tools -- to improve quality control and enhance product and process improvement in his presentation, "Modern Experimental Design Methods and Their Impact on Quality."
