World Conference on Quality and Improvement Focuses on "The New Role of Quality;" InfinityQS to Showcase On-Demand Statistical Process Control Solutions that Drive Quality throughout the Enterprise and Supply Chain.
Chantilly, Va. -- May 13, 2011-- InfinityQS International, the leading provider of real-time quality control software solutions, today announced that it will demonstrate its industry-leading Statistical Process Control (SPC) software, ProFicient™, at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) World Conference on Quality and Improvement. InfinityQS representatives will be on hand at booth 707 throughout the conference, held May 16-18, 2011, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
This year, the ASQ World Conference on Quality and Improvement will go beyond the basics of quality to explore new ways to apply quality tools. Headlining the event, Adm. Thad Allen, the National Incidence Commander for the unified response to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, will address the circumstances that led to this catastrophic event and the country's response under his command.
InfinityQS' ProFicient SPC Software is designed to address many of the critical quality manufacturing issues that led to this disaster including:
- Empowering operations managers with the data and tools required to prevent product and process defects before they occur
- Automatically activating alerts and proposing corrective actions based on real-time quality results
- Unifying test results from multiple systems into a single quality database, enabling further analysis and the ability to satisfy regulatory requirements
Ross Kent, vice president of sales at InfinityQS, said, "We're excited about showcasing our new Software as a Service delivery model for our industry-leading ProFicient software and how manufacturers can benefit from expanding their quality system. Our real-time quality control solution is helping manufacturers strengthen their quality programs in a single facility, across multi-plant enterprises, and throughout their global supplier networks. We're seeing more and more customers take interest in our on-demand model because it offers a rapid deployment without the need for extensive IT involvement and support."
