Global beauty and fragrance leader Coty produces its unique portfolio of fragrances, color cosmetics, and skin and body care products at eight manufacturing facilities across Europe, the United States, and China. Implementing InfinityQS® Quality Intelligence software has enabled the company to sharpen its focus on precision filling—resulting in significant savings. With an eye toward understanding its process capability, reducing overfill, and saving money—across lines and facilities—Coty worked with InfinityQS to execute a focused SPC Fill Height Project across 12 fragrance lines. The SPC project reduced variation, increased accuracy of set points, validated process capability, and reduced overfilling—saving Coty more than $270,000 and inspiring additional initiatives.
